1. General Provisions

Welcome to 4noge.rs. These Terms of Use govern access to, browsing, and use of the 4noge.rs website and all of its features. By using the platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms, and that you agree to use the platform in accordance with the applicable regulations and the rules set out in this document.

4noge.rs is a digital platform intended for publishing and browsing content related to pets, including adoption, classifieds, the service directory, lost pet posts, blog content, comments, reviews, user profiles, communication between users, and other features that may be available on the website.

If you do not agree with these terms, you must stop using the platform.

2. Definitions

• Platform means the 4noge.rs website with all related features and content.
• User means any natural or legal person who accesses or uses the platform.
• Account means a registered user profile on the platform.
• Content includes texts, photos, listings, comments, messages, reviews, descriptions, profiles, and other information published or exchanged through the platform.
• Listing means any user post related to pets, services, offers, requests, or other content permitted on the platform.
• Service provider means a person or business entity presented through the directory or other sections of the website.
• Premium services mean additional visibility, promotion, or highlighting options that may be available for a fee.

3. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions for Use

By using the platform, you confirm that:

• you are 18 years old or older and accept these terms independently, or you use the platform with the consent of a parent or guardian if you are under 18;
• you will provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when required for the use of certain features;
• you will not use the platform for illegal, misleading, offensive, or harmful purposes;
• you will not endanger the operation, security, or integrity of the platform or other users.

4. User Account

To access certain features, including publishing content, sending messages, managing listings, and using additional options, account registration may be required.

The user is responsible for:

• the accuracy of the data entered during registration and use of the account;
• keeping login credentials confidential;
• all activities performed through their account, unless they prove unauthorized use;
• notifying the platform in a timely manner of any suspicion of unauthorized access or account misuse.

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or remove an account if we determine that these terms have been violated, misuse is suspected, or protection of other users and the platform itself requires it.

The user may not transfer their account to a third party without prior consent from the platform. The platform reserves the right to remove inactive accounts, duplicate accounts, or accounts that were created for abuse, content manipulation, posting fake reviews, or bypassing the platform's rules.

5. Permitted Use of the Platform

The platform may be used, among other things, for:

• browsing content related to pets;
• publishing adoption listings, classifieds, and other permitted types of posts;
• browsing and using the directory of pet-related services;
• leaving comments, reviews, and other user feedback when that option is enabled;
• communicating between users through the messaging system or other available contact forms;
• using premium options and content promotion when available on the platform.

6. Prohibited Use

The following is especially prohibited:

• publishing false, inaccurate, misleading, or incomplete information;
• impersonation, identity misuse, or publishing content without authorization;
• publishing content that is unlawful, offensive, discriminatory, threatening, pornographic, violent, or otherwise inappropriate;
• publishing third-party data without an appropriate legal basis or permission;
• sending unsolicited messages, advertisements, spam content, or harassing other users;
• deploying malicious software, attempting unauthorized access, testing vulnerabilities without permission, or compromising system security;
• automated data collection, scraping, bot use, or other tools without our explicit consent;
• using the platform in a way that may endanger its operation, reputation, or the rights of other users;
• creating multiple accounts to bypass restrictions, sanctions, or platform rules;
• making false reports about content, users, listings, reviews, or business profiles;
• publishing content that encourages abuse, neglect, abandonment, irresponsible breeding, or any form of inhumane treatment of animals.

7. Content Published by Users

The user is solely responsible for any content they publish, send, make available, or otherwise distribute through the platform. By publishing content, the user confirms that they have the right to use and publish such content and that doing so does not violate the law, third-party rights, moral rights, privacy rights, copyrights, or other rights.

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review, refuse publication, remove, restrict, or alter the display of content that we deem contrary to these terms, the law, good business practice, or the safety interests of the platform and its users.

By publishing content on the platform, the user grants 4noge.rs a non-exclusive, territorially unlimited, and time-limited right to use that content solely to the extent necessary for the operation of the platform, displaying content to other users, promoting the platform itself, and technically processing the content. The user retains their copyright and other rights to the content they posted.

The user must ensure that photos, descriptions, and other data in listings and profiles accurately represent the subject of the post and do not mislead other users.

8. Adoption, Listings, and the Directory

4noge.rs provides a technical platform for publishing and browsing content, but does not guarantee the accuracy of any individual post, the identity of each user, or the success of any agreement concluded between users.

In connection with adoption, listings, and the service directory, users contact each other directly, exchange information, and make decisions at their own responsibility. We recommend extra caution, verification of information, and reasonable care when communicating, meeting, purchasing, receiving pets, or arranging services.

The presence of a business, listing, or profile on the platform does not guarantee the quality, reliability, legality, availability, or success of a service.

The platform does not act as a contracting party in relationships between users, does not organize delivery, does not inspect the health of animals, does not verify ownership of every pet, and does not guarantee that a pet is suitable for adoption, purchase, care, transport, or breeding.

Users who publish animal-related listings are required to act in accordance with applicable laws, animal welfare rules, and any special requirements that may apply to the specific species, activity, or service.

It is prohibited to publish listings or content that:

• encourage illegal sale, purchase, exchange, breeding, transport, or keeping of animals;
• depict or promote animal abuse, neglect, or exploitation;
• offer animals without information that is important for reasonably informing interested users, when such data is naturally necessary for making a decision;
• contain false claims about origin, health condition, vaccination, sterilization, age, breed, or characteristics of the animal;
• promote services or procedures for which the advertiser does not have the required authorization, license, or professional qualification, when required.

The platform reserves the right to remove, restrict visibility of, or refuse publication of listings and profiles that it deems inconsistent with the platform's purpose, the interest of user protection, animal welfare, or the rules of 4noge.rs.

9. Messages, Comments, and Reviews

When the platform enables messaging, comments, or reviews, users are required to use these features responsibly, respectfully, and in line with their intended purpose.

It is prohibited to use these features for insults, threats, spam, deception, impersonation, publishing confidential data, or any form of misuse.

We reserve the right to moderate, restrict, or remove comments, reviews, and messages, or to restrict access to users who use these options in violation of the platform rules.

Reviews and comments should reflect the user's actual experience. Posting fake, paid, coordinated, or manipulative reviews is not allowed, nor are reviews intended to unjustifiably damage the reputation of another user, service provider, or business profile.

The platform is not obliged to publish every comment or review and reserves the right to remove content that is unverified, inappropriate, legally questionable, manifestly false, or contains personal data, hate speech, insults, or elements of unfair competition.

Certain platform features may be available for a fee, including premium placements, listing highlights, profile promotion, or other forms of additional visibility.

If you use paid options, information about the price, duration, scope of service, and other relevant terms will be displayed before purchase. By using such an option, you accept the special terms applicable to that specific premium service, if displayed.

The platform may use external payment service providers. To the extent applicable, processing of data related to a payment transaction may be subject to the rules and terms of those providers.

Except where otherwise expressly stated or required by mandatory regulations, fees for executed premium services are considered non-refundable after activation of the service. The platform reserves the right to change prices, duration, scope, and terms of premium services, with updated information published on the platform in advance.

12. Intellectual Property

The platform content, including the name, mark, logo, design, site structure, texts, graphics, databases, software solutions, and other elements, is protected by intellectual property rights to the extent applicable.

Without prior written consent, copying, distribution, public display, modification, downloading a substantial part of the content, commercial exploitation, or other use of the platform content is not permitted, except to the extent expressly allowed by law or by the website's functionality.

Automated downloading, indexing, scraping, republication, or other systematic use of the platform content, including listings, profiles, photos, descriptions, reviews, and databases, is not permitted without prior written consent from 4noge.rs.

13. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, unless otherwise expressly required by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 4noge.rs is not responsible for:

• the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of content published by users or third parties;
• the behavior of users, third parties, or the outcome of their mutual communication and agreements;
• the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of services and offers presented on the platform;
• temporary unavailability of the website, errors, interruptions, data loss, or technical issues;
• damage arising from reliance on information published on the platform or use of the website in violation of these terms.

Users agree that all agreements, including adoption, purchase, sale, care, transport, veterinary, or other services, are concluded directly between users and/or service providers, without the platform acting as intermediary, agent, or guarantor.

14. Suspension and Termination of Use

We reserve the right, without prior notice where justified, to temporarily or permanently restrict access to the platform, remove content, suspend, or deactivate a user account in the event of:

• violation of these Terms of Use;
• suspected abuse, fraud, spam, or endangerment of platform security;
• a request from a competent authority;
• technical, security, or legal reasons that justify such a measure.

Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, the platform may issue a warning, impose a temporary restriction, remove specific content, or permanently ban the use of some or all features.

The platform may contain links to websites, profiles, services, or content of third parties. Such links are provided for information or functionality purposes, but they do not mean that 4noge.rs controls, recommends, or guarantees the content or operation of those pages.

Use of third-party websites and services is at your own risk and in accordance with the terms and privacy policies of those third parties.

16. Changes to the Terms of Use

We reserve the right to amend or supplement these Terms of Use from time to time in order to align them with platform development, feature changes, technical improvements, legal changes, or business needs.

The amended version will be published on this page with the indicated date of the last update. Continued use of the platform after the changes are published will be considered acceptance of the new terms, unless applicable regulations require a different form of consent.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. The parties will attempt to resolve any disputes amicably, and if that is not possible, the competent court in the Republic of Serbia will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory regulations provide otherwise.
